Tina L. Bruce Gross, 60 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Tina was born on May 19, 1965, on Lockborne Air Force Base in Columbus, the daughter of Herbert J. and Elsie Farris.
Tina dedicated many years of work as a bun maker at the Wendy’s Bun Factory and as a pottery maker with Fioriware Pottery in Zanesville. She had a deep love for music, especially 80’s rock, and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Tina also enjoyed being outdoors—fishing, tending to her flowers, and was known for her ability to fix just about anything. Tina’s fiery spirit and determination stayed with her until the very end.
Tina is survived by her three daughters, Veronica “Roni” Bruce; Samantha “Sammie” (Shane) Howard; Randi (Johnny Lundell) Bruce; her grandchildren, Lamara, Victoria, Anabelle, Ricky, Ryder, and Stanley; her siblings, Emma VanHoose, and John (Cindy) Farris; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends who were family also.
In addition to her parents, Tina is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Carsey; and her granddaughter, Adalynn Lundell.
A celebration of her life will be held from 5 to 9 pm on Friday, August 8, 2025 at the George Selsam VFW Post #1058, 1318 Putnam Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Gross family.
