Timothy S. Wilson, 72, of New Concord, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2026, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House, surrounded by his loving family.

Tim was born in Cambridge on December 7, 1953, the son of the late Leonard A. and Margaret Joan (Frakes) Wilson.

He was a 1972 graduate of John Glenn High School and was the co-owner of Wilson Brothers Plastic, where he dedicated 37 years of hard work and commitment.

Tim enjoyed fishing and hunting, but above all, he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events.

Tim is survived by his wife and best friend of 24 years, Betsy (Huhn) Wilson; his children, Merideth (Scott) Jirles of Dover, Ohio, T.J. (Jill) Wilson of Tennessee, Beau Devore of Belle Valley, and Chrissy (Jay Strauss) Norman of New Concord; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Lauren Jirles, Breann (Andrew), Aaron, Ian, and April Wilson, and Kenli and Aubri Norman; several nieces and nephews; and his brothers, Curt (Tammy) Wilson of New Concord, Joel Wilson of Cambridge, and Stanley (Trudy) Wilson of Cambridge.

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Tad Wilson.

A caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is honored to care for the Wilson family.
