Thomas Perry Unger

Thomas Perry Unger passed away on September 8th, 2018 while in the care of Genesis Hospital, he was 67 years old.  Thomas was born in Unger, West Virginia to A.C. and Edna (Heeg) Unger.  He enjoyed pulling tractors with his son, spending time with his grandchildren, and restoring Wheel Horse Lawn Mowers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura (Knipe) Unger, his daughter, Bethany (Dave)Sigler, his son, Caid (Cyndi) Unger, his grandsons David, Jack, and Ian Sigler, his granddaughter, Chloe Unger, his brothers-in-law, Bruce (Crystal) Knipe, Toby (Trina) Knipe, his niece, Jacque (Jordan) Lowry and their expectant daughter, Aryianna Marie, nephew, J.R. Knipe & Kaylynn Hindel, and his niece and nephew, Molly & Stephen Thompson-Inman.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, James and Laurabell Knipe, and his grandmother, Virginia Dare Unger.

Friends and family are welcome to attend Calling Hours for Thomas at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm.  Services will follow on Wednesday, September 12th at 11am; Pastor Jim Gibson will officiate the services and burial will follow at Rich Hill Cemetery.
