Thelma Jones

Thelma J. Jones, 74, Blue Rock, went home to be with the lord on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. Thelma was born June 14, 1939 in South Zanesville to the late Dale and Catherine Calendine Farquhar Sr. Thelma worked at Brockway Glass House and was a home maker and loved the outdoors and to travel. She was a member of the Crooksville Eagles. Surviving is her husband of 48 years Thomas M. Jones Jr. they were married on Aug 14, 1965. Her sons are Arthur Mullins and Debbis Burkle of Blue Rock and Thomas (Matt) Jones and Felecia Allen of Blue Rock. Brothers are Dale (June) Farquhar Jr. of Zanesville and Harold (Margret) Farquhar of Hopewell, Virginia. Her sisters are Judy Trout and Linda (Mike) McDonald. 9 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sisters JoAnn White and Leona Maxine Hill and her brother are Robert Farquhar. Calling hours will be Saturday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 the July 6, 2013 at the Farus Funeral home in Duncan Falls with the funeral will follow at 8:00 pm. with the Rev Thomas Hayes officiating.
