Terry Lyn Vandagriff, 55 of Zanesville, passed away on Thursday December 24, 2020 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born in Zanesville on October 26, 1965, a son of Pamela (Wilkison) Vandagriff and the late Jerry C. Vandagriff.
One of Terry’s biggest accomplishments was being a father. He considered himself very lucky, and made sure everyone he knew and met also knew just how lucky he was. His children called him a superhero, and even as adults, they still see him that way. He was always there for them through their ups and downs, and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer. On his final day, he was surrounded by his loving family. Terry adored his children more than anything in the world.
In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his wife of 34 years, and the love of his life, Tamara Vandagriff; his children, Ashley (Anthony) Joseph, Kaleigh (Chase) Temple, Tyler (Alexis) Vandagriff, and Lindsey (John) Altier; and his grandchildren Hunter, Kinzleigh, Brianna, Cooper, Dallas, Johnny, Macy, Raelyn, and Dylan; Terry's siblings, Victoria (Gadi) Vandagriff, Jerrod Vandagriff, Troy (Kelli) Vandagriff, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to his father, Terry is preceded in death by his grandparents, Seth and Anna Lee Wilkison, and Claude and Majorie Vandagriff.
In keeping with Terry’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Vandagriff family.
