Terry Hunt

Zanesville Terry Hunt passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, September 4th; he was 82 years old. He was born May 3rd, 1932 in Bethel, Indiana to the late Terry and Winifred Hunt. Terry married his loving wife, Deloris, on May 3rd, 1990. Terry proudly served in the United States Army during the time of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the New Concord Lions Club, the Sportsman's Gun Club, the Algonquin Gun Club and was a part of the J.O.Y. Sunday School class and a member of the New Concord United Methodist Church. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Carol Hunt and his sister, Sandra S. Hunt. He is survived by his Wife, Deloris Hale Hunt, his sons, Randy and Rick Hunt, his step-children, Barry Tom and Bart Tom; his brother, Ron L. (Connie) Hunt. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Matthew Hunt and Brady Hunt, Tori (Hunt) & Wade Stucke, Taylor Hunt and Kaylee Hunt; his step-grandchildren, Nicholas Tom, Abby Crawford and Jason Crawford and well as his great-step-grandchildren, Preston, Samantha, and Jessy Crawford. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Terry's name to the New Concord United Methodist Church, 20 East High Street, New Concord, OH. 43762 Calling hours will be Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord (formerly Mock-Miller) and also from 11:30 am to 1 pm Monday, September 8th; funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Rev. Karen Graham officiating. He will be laid to rest in the New Concord Cemetery with full Military Honors.
