Terence "Terry" L. Doty

Terence “Terry” L. Doty, 67 of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of Friday, December 13, 2024.

Terry was born on May 22, 1957, in Zanesville. He is the son of the late Robert and Dianna (Wagner) Doty. Terence worked at Meijer’s Department Store in Columbus for several years before retiring. His passion was woodworking and making children’s toys.

Terry is survived by his nieces and nephews, Misty (James) Ferrell, Don (Jessie) Pickinpaugh, and Tawnya (Justin) Pickinpaugh; his great nephews, Austin, Earl, Preston, and Wesley; his best friend, Chuck; as well as many friends.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his sisters, Vickie Doty and Tina Falter; his niece, Dianna Pickinpaugh; his maternal grandparents, Fred and Eunice Wagner; as well as his paternal grandparents.

The love of family is life’s greatest blessing.

Visitations for Terry will be held from 12 pm to 1 pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm after the visitations. Pastor Joe Rowland will officiate the service. Terry will be laid to rest beside his parents and sister in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
