Ted Mihalisin

Ted Mihalisin passed away peacefully, Friday November 17, after a long illness.  He was at Ridgeview Healthcare Services in San Diego California at the time of his death. Ted was born Feb. 11, 1940 in Houston, Texas, to Emil and Marie (Carpenter) Mihalisin. He was a professor of physics at Temple University in Philadelphia for 40 years and during this time he met his wife Rhea, whom he married in 1979.   They retired to La Jolla California in 2009 where they resided until his death. Ted is survived by his wife Rhea and his three children, Julie, Lisa and Jed.  He was preceded in death by both parents, his brother Bob and sister Carol.  A private service will be held Tuesday November 28.  The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Mihalisin Family.
