Susan L. Sotherden

Susan Lorraine Sotherden, 65, of Cumberland, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord at 1:15am on Saturday December 29, 2012. Sue was born October 28, 1947 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late Henry and Shirley Renczkowski. She graduated from St. John Baptist high school in East Syracuse, NY and then completed the RN program at St. Mary's School of Nursing in Amsterdam, NY. She raised her family in Westerville, Ohio and moved to Cumberland, Ohio in 1999. She worshiped at Church of Messiah in Westerville and Cumberland United Methodist Church. She was a UMW member and involved with many church programs, including the after school children's program. She enjoyed riding her four wheeler around the farm to see her cows. She is survived by husband, Ronald Sotherden of Cumberland, three sons, Matt (Terra), Mark (Tara) and Randy (Krystle), brother, Mike Renczkowski, sisters, Rita (John) Olmsted, Mary Renczkowski, Trudy Delosh and five grandchildren, Elle (9), Mia (6), Charlotte (2), Chelsea (6) and Dylan (4). A memorial service will be held at Cumberland United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00am. Interment will be at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay, NY, at a later date.
