Steven Lee Stewart

Steven Lee Stewart passed away suddenly on Friday, July 24th, 2015 while in the care of Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville, he was 57 years old.  He was born September 23rd, 1957 in Zanesville to James and Audrey Stewart.  He worked as a mechanic, a truck driver, and as a laborer in the oil fields.  He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved animals, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is predeceased by his mother, Audrey Coleman Stewart, his sister, Susan Irene Hall, and his grandmother, Betty Wharton.  He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jyl Beth Stewart, his daughter, Carrie (Dave) Williamson, and his grandchildren, Taiylor and Shilynn Williamson.  He will be deeply missed by his father, James Stewart, his brother, Jim (Linda) Stewart, brother, Ron (Cathy) Stewart, his sister, Faye (Alan) Hughes, sister, Sherry Haught, sister, Nancy (Tom) Harding,  and his sister, Patty (Charlie) Pavlic.  He is lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Cyndi Hall, his sisters-in-law, Jackie Sielaff, Jody Pennell, and Janet (Robert) Harmon, as well as Davey (Theresa) Bonifant, his 6 dogs, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service for Steven will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord at 2PM; friends and family are welcome to gather a half hour earlier at 1:30PM.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to help defer the cost of services.
