Shirley Rose Butler

Shirley Butler, 88 of Duncan Falls passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022 at Altercare in Zanesville.

Shirley was born in Sharon, Ohio on December 7, 1934.  She is the daughter of the late Dayle and Zola (Teeters) McKee.  She and her husband, Jim, enjoyed traveling and camping.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Shirley is survived by her three daughters, Sharon Duffy, Pam Gault and Nancy Salsbury; her nine grandchildren, Stephanie Duffy, Shawna Duffy, Cody (Missy) Duffy, Andrea Steed, Jeffery Steed Jr., Aaron (Britney) Cash, Ashley (Tim) Larimer, Caleb Salsbury, Lexi Salsbury; her two step-grandchildren, Courteney (Aaron) Bechtel and Megan (Joey Dyott) Salsbury; her sixteen great grandchildren, Tristan, Brady, Sadie, Sophia, Aiden, Piper, Leeanne, Mhyking, Kailyn, Kole, Brianna, Jagger, Bella, Ruby, Ellis, and Zelda; her brother, Kenneth (Helen) McKee; her sister-in-law, Clara Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Butler, who passed away June 30, 2005; her brothers, Wilber and Glenn McKee; an infant brother, Jesse McKee and her sister, Esther Williams.

Visitations will be 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday.  Rev. Darla Revennaugh will officiate, and Shirley will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
