Sheila Jean Pyle

Sheila Jean Pyle, 83 of Norwich, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2023 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville.

Sheila was born in Caldwell, Ohio on April 10, 1940.  She is the daughter of the late Richard and Vera (Tracy) Bates.  She retired in 1992 from Brockway Glass as an inspector.  She also worked on the family farm.  She previously attended the Chandlersville United Methodist Church and also attended the Sonora United Methodist Church.

Sheila is survived by her son Bill (Cathy) Pyle; her two grandchildren, Michael Chapman and Victoria Pyle; her brother, Richard “Pete” Bates and her sister, Kay Baker.

Sheila is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Pyle.

Visitations will be 12 to 2 pm on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm with Pastor Roger Morrow officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the St. Paul Cemetery.
