Sharon Fitz

Sharon Faye Fitz, 81, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 while in the care of Genesis Health Care of Zanesville.  She was born in Zanesville to Kenneth and Esther (Maxwell) Anders on February 26, 1936.  She was a graduate of Philo High School and she worked as a school bus driver for Franklin Local and for the IGA Sunrise.  She previously attended the Philo United Methodist Church, and was a member of the American Legion Post #71 in Roseville.  She loved going to the VFW and the Eagles in Crooksville.

Sharon is survived by her children Craig L. Fitz of Crooksville, Brady L. Fitz of Crooksville, Stacey Brown of Zanesville, and Troy (Amy) Fitz of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Charissa, Samantha, Landon, Josh, Amber, Sasha, Marissa and her great-grandchildren, Beau Jr., Alexus, Kerisa, Miles, Justin, Amara, and Noah.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Fitz who passed away in 1975 and her sister, Mary Lou Hines.

Visitations for Sharon will be held from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday with Pastor Gay Blau officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
