Sandra Kay Crawford

Sandra Kay Crawford, 66 of Philo, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at Good Samaritan Emergency Room. Sandy was born July 19, 1948 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Earnest H. and Frances B. (Thomas) McCumber. She was a housewife and a loving Mother! She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was on the prayer list with the Gaysport United Methodist Church for 2 years. She is survived by her sons George H.C. Newell of Ft. Myers Fl, Daniel Newell of Philo; her daughter Darlene Dunaway of Zanesville; her sister Fran Rupe of Blue Rock; her sister in law Kathy Harrop of Philo; 12 grandchildren including her name sake Sandra Dorren, 3 great grandchildren, a special friend and caregiver Skip McCumber and her K-9 companions Delilah, Cynthia and Heidi. In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her husband Gene L. Crawford who passed away in 2012 and her brother Earnest L. McCumber. An outside funeral will be held at 11 am Thursday July 24, 2014 at the Gaysport Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bill Abrams. www.farusfh.com
