Sandra K. Adams

Sandra Kay Adams beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and dear friend to many, passed away on July 29, 2024 at age 74. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Harold and Ethel Dickerson of Duncan Falls. She is survived by her devoted children and their spouses Keith and Tonda Adams, Carl and Tricia (Adams) Pool. Her adoring grandchildren Grant Adams, Trevor and Emma Pool, Hunter Pool and her great grandson Brailyn Pool. She also leaves behind her sister Judy Dickerson and niece Stacey Fletcher. Her pride and joy in life were her parents, children and grandchildren. She deeply loved the Lord, her family, and friends. She had a truly loving and giving spirit and she touched everyone she met. She loved to cook, decorate, read, write, and most of all laugh. She showed her love through food and her giving heart. Even though she struggled throughout her life she never stopped tithing or giving. She was the example Christ taught in Mark 12:43-44. “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on."

She was a strong and tenacious lady that lived her life for her children. She was an amazing mother and gave everything she had to provide the very best for her children. We will greatly miss her infectious laugh, her kind spirit, and loving heart. Upon her passing the Lord gave her family this scripture as comfort.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing."

Funeral Sevices will be held at Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls on August 10 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Sandra Rayner. Sandra will be laid to rest at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
