Sally E. Wentz

Sally E. Wentz  of Cambridgepassed away on November 19th, 2014 at the Ohio State Medical Center, she was 38 years old.  She was born in Ripley, WVA on December 5th, 1975 to David and Shirley Friend.  Sally loved the outdoors and fished and hunted; she also enjoyed animals, especially dogs.  She also kept chickens.  She graduated both Ripley High School, and Marietta College.  In college, Sally was an amazing softball player, and received the Outstanding Female Award in 1998, and was inducted into the Marietta College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009.

Sally is survived by her husband, Richard Wentz, II, whom she wed on October2nd, 2014.  She also leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jackson Friend-Hutcheson of Cambridge, her step-children, Allison Wentz, Ryan Wentz, and Sadie Wentz all of Waterford, Oh.  She is remembered by her parents, David and Shirley Friend, her sister, Veronica Hoder of Ripley, WV, and her brother, Chris Mace of Parkersburg, WV.

Friends and Family may gather at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Saturday, November 22nd from the hours of 5 to 8pm, where they are welcome to share their love and memories of Sally.  Cremation will follow.
