Ryan A. Moyer

Ryan A. Moyer, 42 of New Concord, passed away on December 24, 2022 at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus following a brief illness.

Ryan was born in Zanesville on February 3, 1980.  He is the son of Vickie Moyer and Carl Tucker.

Ryan was a 1999 graduate of John Glenn High School.   He was a member of the New Concord United Methodist Church.  He was an avid football fan and loved watching the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.  He enjoyed spending time camping with family, going to the local fairs and talking on the phone with his many special friends.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Vickie (Carl Tucker) Moyer and Ronald (Fran) Moyer; his brother, Jason (Lanna) Moyer; a very special niece and nephew, Emily and Colton Moyer; his special friend, Misty Dickerson; his aunt, Teresa (Mark) Burkett.

Ryan is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Marjorie Moore.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Ryan’s name to the East Muskingum School District, 13505 John Glenn School Road, New Concord, Ohio 43762.  Any funds contributed in his name will go to help special needs students.

Visitations will be 12 to 4 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home, 63 West Main Street, New Concord, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at 4 pm following visitations with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating.
