Russell H. Butler

Russell H. Butler, 78 of Philo, passed away peacefully at his residence on July 27, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Russ was born in Mount Sterling, Ohio on November 4, 1941.  He is the son of the late Harold Butler and Eunice and Robert Browning.  He retired from Burnham Foundry after 42 years.  He enjoyed working in his garage, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and he served his country in the US Army Reserves.

Russ is survived by his wife of 58 years, Delores (Newman) Butler; his children, Tammy Constable, Jeff (Kamala) Butler, Rusty (Shelly) Butler; his grandchildren, Miranda (Matthew) Brewer, John (Brittany) Constable III, Megan (Josh Gallagher) Berry, Kayla (Kyle) Williamson, Travis (Haley Howard) Butler and Cody Butler; his greatgrandchildren, Mason, Miles, Skylar, Emma, Mya, Lucy, and Eva; and his two sister, Nancy (Donald) Newman and Norma Jean Redman.

In addition to his parents, Russ is preceded in death by his infant son, David; and his son-in-law, John Constable Jr.

A loving cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
