Ruby Mae Ross, 92 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2017 surrounded by her family at The Oak at Bethesda.
Ruby was born in Scioto, OH on February 25, 1924. She is the daughter of the late James E. and Genevieve (Cook) Talbert. She retired from Riverside Nursing Home in Cleveland where she worked as a Nurses Aide and cook, she was a member and very faithful servant of the First Church of God in Zanesville.
Ruby is survived by her children Lewis (Donna) Ross of Berea, OH, Diana Howard of Cumberland and Denise (Jerry) Tucker of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Nicole Michelle Larrison, Josh Ross, Jeffrey Tucker, David Duritsky-Hellebrand, Dennis Tucker; 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by husband, Lewis Ross who passed away in 1995; her two sons Ricky Lee Ross and Dennis Keith Ross; her grandson Michael Ross Rini; her great-grandson Remington Tucker; her four brothers Willard, Stanley, Albert and Clifford Talbert and three sisters Virginia Paisley, Rema Cannon and Isabella Fulkerson.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 pm Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral service will be held 1 pm, Tuesday with Pastor Gary Bennett officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
