Rosa L. Kennedy

Rosa L. Kennedy, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord at 10:30 pm on October 27, 2015 at The Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville.

Rosa was born in Rich Hill Township on August 29, 1930 to the late Lloyd and Louella (Brothers) Marshall.  She was a 50 years member of the Olive Branch Chapter of OES #52 and a faithful member of the Chandlersville United Methodist Church.

Rosa is survived by her loving children Rita & Tom Ogg of Chandlersville, Glenn & Jane Kennedy of Chandlersville, Sharon & Kenneth Ogg of Dellroy, OH, Mark & Lois Kennedy of Zanesville Linda & Gary King of Zanesville, John & Loretta Kennedy of Blue Rock and Mary & Jon Calendine of Zanesville; she is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and sister Mary Lou Lautzenheiser of Reynoldsburg.

In addition to her parents, Rosa is preceded in death by her husband Boyd Kennedy who passed away on February 27, 2002, a granddaughter Ashley Kennedy, her son-in-law William Calendine, her brother George Marshall, her sister and brother-in-law Pauline and John Cornell and brother-in-law Leo Lautzenheiser.

Olive Branch of OES will hold services at 8 pm on Thursday.

Visitations will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 pm at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday at the Chandlersville United Methodist Church with Pastor Gary Fitzgerald officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Ark Spring Cemetery.
