Ronald Bickford

Ronald D. Bickford Sr. of Dresden passed away 4:40 pm, on Saturday Nov 30, 2013 at Willow Haven Care Center. Ronald was born April 28, 1936 in Zanesville to the late Walter D. and Violet M. (Brewer) Bickford. He retired from the Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo, Ohio and also worked at the Z Bus garage, Bean Brake, and the Pataskala International Truck Garage. Ronald was a Lifetime member of the Highill Sportman Club and served his country in the Navy. Surviving is Virginia, the mother of his son Ronald D. Bickford Jr. His sisters are Patty French of Thornville and Ardis Mohler of New Straitsville. His Step children are Wanda, Dot, and Linda. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Helen, brothers Donald, Larry, Gary, and Arthur Bickford. One sister Carol Frances Harvey. Friends may call at the Farus Funeral home in Duncan Falls on Monday 4 to 6 where the funeral will be at 11 Tuesday with calling hours from 10 to service time with the Rev Steve Harrop officiating and burial will be in Chandlersville Cemetery with full military honors.
