Roger O. Tyo

Roger “Rockin Roger” Tyo, 68 of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Roger was born in Zanesville on February 9, 1948. He is the son of the late John F. and Clarice (Smith) Tyo. He retired from the City of Zanesville where he worked for 15 years in waste water department. He loved singing karaoke, classic cars and most especially spending time with his family!
Roger is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years Camilla Tyo, whom he married August 29, 1973; his five children; Jeffery O’Dell Tyo, Amanda S. Tyo-Johnson, Rich Tyo, Julie Tyo and Adrian Tyo; his eight grandchildren McKinley, Kalah, Treston, Keirston, Brady, Amondra, Jordan and Lacie; his siblings Patricia Bromley, Raymond Hostettler and Samantha Stoneburner.
In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his brothers Johnny Hostettler, Richard Tyo, Willie Tyo, Butch Tyo and Randy Savage.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 4 to 6 pm Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday. Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Following the service a caring cremation will take place.
