Roger A. Merry

Roger Allen Merry, 64, of Norwich, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021, while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Roger was born on April 23, 1957 in Zanesville. He is the son of the late John Edward and E. Jean (Hicks) Merry. Roger attended the Otsego Baptist Church, and was employed by Knowlton Industrial Steel Supply.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Peggy S. (Fountain) Merry; his children, Shallah A. (Greg) Lentz of Adamsville, Scott M. Merry of Columbus, and Jennifer (Ben) Turner of Knoxville, TN; his grandsons, Kole and Kaiden Lentz of Adamsville; his brothers, David Merry of Columbus, and Larry (Jill) of Norwich; his sister, Lisa (Pat) Hipskin of Shelbyville, IN; and his brother-in-law, Paul E. Willis of Orrstown, PA.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia L. Willis.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of our family and friends that participated in the drive by for Roger a few weeks ago.

Visitations will be held 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord, 63 W. Main Street, New Concord, OH, 43762. Graveside services will be held for family and friends at 11 am on Friday at the St. Paul Cemetery with Pastor Gerry Wade officiating.
