Roger B. Holland

Roger B. Holland, 79, of Chandlersville passed away at 7:20 pm at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. Roger was born July 31, 1934 in Chandlersville the son of the late George S. and Virginia (Shilling) Holland. He worked for several years with the Shelly and Sands Company as a heavy equipment operator. Roger is survived by his wife Nancy Sue (Martin) Holland whom he married June 30, 1957; his two sons Jody B. Holland of Chandlersville and Douglas (Jody Sue) Holland of Philo; his two daughters Sheila Sue Jackson of Zanesville and Sherry (Larry) Davis of Philo; his grandchildren Jennifer, Carly, Devin, Janet, Taisha, Tiffany, Brandon, Jessica and Amanda; several great-grandchildren; his brothers George Holland of Adam Mills, and Gordon (Jan) Holland of Las Vegas and his sister Cheryle Wilson of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his brother and his wife Sidney and Donna Holland, a sister-in-law Cicilia Holland, and a brother in law Ed Wilson Sr. Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday with his son Pastor Jody Holland officiating and burial will follow in Chandlersville Cemetery.
