Rodney Ray Driggs

Rodney Ray Driggs, 91, of Duncan Falls, went to be with his Lord at 5:45 am on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at The Oaks at North Point. Rodney was born March 12, 1923 in Morgan County the son of the late Guy and Audrey (Pletcher) Driggs. He retired in 1985 after 38 years of service with the National Gas Company. Rodney was a member of the Duncan Falls Baptist Church and the Philo - Duncan Falls Lions Club. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WW II. Rodney is survived by his wife of 68 years Margaret (King) Driggs; two sons Garry L. (Connie) Driggs of Zanesville and Rodney G. Driggs of Circleville; three daughters Sheila (Jim) Amrine of Thurston, Regina Price of Zanesville, and Rebecca (Jeff) Dingey of Blue Rock; his brother Ronald (Vivian) Driggs of McConnelsville and a sister Leona (David) Searls of Zanesville; sixteen Grandchildren and twenty-three Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandson. He is preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence Driggs and Guy Driggs Jr. and four great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Duncan Falls Baptist Church, Mill St. Duncan Falls, OH 43734. Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11am Wednesday Rev. Gerry Wade officiating. He will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors provided by George Selsam Post #1058. www.farusfh.com
