Rocky F. Boggs
February 16, 1946 — December 14, 2016
Rocky F. Boggs, 70 of Cumberland, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 with his daughters by his side. Rocky loved God's promise in Joshua 1:5 God would never leave him or forsake him.
Rocky was born in Portsmouth, OH on February 16, 1946. He is the son of the late Earl and Hazel (Parker) Boggs.
Rocky is survived by his children; Michele (Steve) Bond of Londonderry, OH; Dawn (Greg) Black of Cumberland,
Jason (Jenny) Boggs of Fresno, CA, and Rachel (Jerry) Gattrell of Newark; his eight grandchildren and his nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Hannah Lea Gattrell.
The Boggs family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Central Ohio for their compassionate care for Rocky.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 1 to 2 pm on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Cumberland, where funeral services will be held at 2 pm with Rev. Larry Copely officiating. He will be laid to rest in Zion Cemetery in Claysville.
