Robyn passed away peacefully in the afternoon of Saturday, March 15. She was born in Cisne, Illinois, on March 9, 1957. She attended high school at John Glenn in Muskingum County, OH, and later moved to Warren, Ohio to raise her boys. Robyn was the best mother her sons could have asked for. She was a phenomenal cook and made beautiful homes in every house she lived in. She was a gracious host who loved entertaining in her home, and she could make everyone laugh, as she was often the center of attention. Furthermore, she was intensely creative and artistic, enjoying quilting, painting, and making crafts among her many other hobbies and talents. She was a Master Gardener and always made sure to have the most colorful and vibrant garden on the street. She was a savvy businesswoman, having owned two successful retail gift shops during her life. With such a generous spirit, she volunteered at a number of organizations including Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital. Her thoughtfulness and generosity resulted in her always giving the most perfect gifts, as she turned gift-giving into an art. She loved animals, especially her dogs, Oliver, Chloe, Leo, Thumper, Cassie, Roxie and many others.
She was a remarkably kind woman who made the world a gentler and more beautiful place, and she touched the lives and hearts of everyone around her. The world is now a darker place without her but Heaven is much brighter now. She will be missed dearly, but will live on in our hearts.
Robyn is preceded in death by her father, Samuel J. Read, and her mother, Pauline Read. She is preceded also by two unborn sons, Evan and Luke.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Kreager, and her sons, Jordan Kreager and Nicholas Kreager. She is survived also by her brother, Rick Read and sister-in-law Veronica Read, Sarah and Samantha Read, and Rachel Kreager among so many other family members and friends throughout her life. We love you Mom, but now you are at peace with God and in Heaven watching over us all.
No services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Kreager family.
