Robin L. Thomas

Robin L. Thomas, 68 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospice Morrison House on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Robin was born on November 29, 1956, in Zanesville, to the late George and Darlene (Farmer) Thomas. Robin worked for and eventually retired from the Longaberger Company.  He loved to cheer on his Philo Electrics Football team and was there every Friday night. Even when he lived in Florida, Robin flew home to watch his team play. He also loved visiting Zanesville South Town Cafe and ending his trips with a Burger King Whopper every weekend.

Robin is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Lora (Dovenbarger) Thomas, whom he married on July 26, 1997; his children and those he claimed as his own, Christy (Brad) Loveall, Matthew Friend, Tiffany (Landon Rhoades) Thomas, Justin (Jaela Madinger) Thomas, Adrian Thomas, Kelly White, Nick (Meranda) McHenry, Jaime Philip, Lacey Adams, and Tiffany Lewis; his cherished grandchildren, who will keep his legacy alive,  Michael (Kate Tindall) Loveall, Terry “Gator” Douglas Jr, Isabelle Roberts, Kymani Philip, Isabella Friend, Karter Friend, Kolson Friend, Hudson Starr, Laken Butler, and Pey Pey; his great-grand son, Charlie “Up Chuck” Loveall; his siblings, Frank (Sharon Stanley) Thomas, Cindy (Tim) Hopkins, Sue (Don) Martin as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Robin is preceded in death by his brother, George Thomas Jr. and his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Walt Rutter.

Visitations will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM following visitations. Pastor Dylan Gibbs will officiate the service. Robin will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
