Robert Jasper Young

Robert “Jasper” Young, 75, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Jasper was born on December 27, 1948, in Bristol, Tennessee. He is the son of the late Robert J. and Lena (Goodson) Young.  He served his country in the US Air Force.

Jasper is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Darci (McIntire) Young; his sister, Joyce Stinnett; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jasper is preceded in death by his son, Robert Jasper Young II; and a sister, Jackie Brown.

A graveside service for Jasper will be held at 1 pm on May 18, 2024, at the Ark Springs Church Cemetery. Derek McIntire will officiate the service. Full military honors will be provided by the George Selsam VFW Post #1058 and the United States Air Force.
