Robert H. Slate

Robert “Bobby” H. Slate, 57 of Frazeysburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Genesis Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Bobby was born on January 3, 1966 to the late Harold E. and Betty A. (Stratman) Slate. He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School in Dresden, Ohio. Bobby diligently worked for Longaberger Baskets for thirty years. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and he enjoyed watching sports on the TV.

Bobby is survived by his sister, Beth (Slate) Smith; his two nephews, Dustin (Tonya) Melick and Darren Melick; his great-nephews and niece, Cyrus, Dax, and Mackinzie Melick; his one aunt, Alice Smith; as well as several cousins, and many friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bobby’s cousin, Becky Slate.

In keeping with Bobby’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Slate family.
