Robert H. Phillips Jr.

Robert “Bob” Phillips Jr., 70 of New Concord, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born on January 20, 1953, in Barnesville, Ohio. He is the son of the late Robert Sr. and Marjorie (Ellis) Phillips. Bob worked as a truck mechanic for Kovacs Trucking Company. He also dedicated twenty-five years of hard work towards Detroit Diesel as an assembly line worker in Cambridge.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sarah (Barr) Phillips, who he married on July 20, 1998; his children, David (Crystal) Phillips of Morristown, Matthew (Amber) Lee of New Concord, Aaron (Nicole) Lee of Norwich, Robert A. Lee of New Concord, and Nathan J. Lee (Savannah) of Warsaw; his sister, Sue Hoobler of Cadiz; a brother, Mark (Carla) Phillips of St.Clairsville; six grandchildren, Carson, Gage, Wyatt, Brandon, Oliver, and Payton; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Mason and Angel Phillips.

Visitations will be from 3 to 6 on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the Bloomfield United Presbyterian Church at 5650 Cambridge Road in New Concord, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 6 at the Church. Pastor Tim Pollock will officiate the service.
