Philo ---- Robert E. May passed away in the loving presence of his family on Saturday, June 7th at the Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born March 30th, 1947 to Vancil and Gladys May in Zanesville, Ohio. He was 67 years old. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and his Uncle, Randy Taylor. He is survived by his Loving wife of 9 years , Coleen May; his daughters, Kelly Bryant, and Christy Price, 5 grandchildren, 14 Step-children, his sister, Sandra Morgan, his Generic Son, Jerry Taylor, a special niece, Stacey, and his beloved beagle, Sissy, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and former co-workers. Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver for several companies throughout the years. He loved to go hunting and fishing, playing darts, and never met an animal he didn't like. He grew both flowers and vegetables for fun, and enjoyed racing. He was also a member of the Eagles in Zanesville. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Morrison House for all the care and comfort they provided Robert and his family. Calling hours for Robert will be held at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls, Ohio on Wednesday, June 11th from the hours of 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM. A service will be held on Thursday, June 12th at 11AM. Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate, and burial will take place at the Duncan Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Muskingum County Humane Society, 125 Fox Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701.
