Robert "Bubba" Holowell

Robert R. “Bubba” Holowell, 60 of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2020 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Robert was born in Marion, Ohio on September 24, 1960.  He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Beverly L. and Dean Bush.  He retired from United Technologies on Ceramic Avenue after 20 years.  He loved cars and motorcycles, which lead him to become a mechanic, working at various local auto shops and dealerships.  He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most especially he would help anyone he could and he loved spending time with his granddaughter, Sydney.

Robert is survived by his son, Eric (Susan) Stall; his granddaughter, Sydney Stall; his siblings, Andrew (Eva) Holowell; Randy Holowell, Gail Mills, Francie (Russell) Hughlock and Susan Bush; Brothers-in-law, Darryl (Rita) Jones and Dale (Tiffany) Jones; sisters-in-law, Patsy (Matt) Conrad, Dixie (Jeff) Havens, Heidi Jones and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to mother and step-father, Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Jackie L. Holowell, who passed away on May 24, 2020; and his siblings, Rusty Holowell and Rhonda Holowell.

In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place and a graveside memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 30, 2020, where he will be laid to rest with his wife in Memorial Park Cemetery in Zanesville.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Holowell family.
