Robert M Green

Robert M. Green was called Home on Tuesday, December 8th while in the care of Genesis Hospital, he was 75 years old.  Robert was born in Sarahsville, Ohio on September 22nd, 1940 to Charles and Gladys Green.  He worked as a machinist at Ameritech March Electric until he retired after 30 years of service.  He was proud to have served our country in the United States Navy, and to be a member of the New Concord Church of Christ, where he was fondly known as the Candy Man.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Walter, Melvin, Charles, and Richard.  He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Karen Green, and their children including, James (Jennifer) Green, Alisha Green, Susan (Ray) Wyers, Robby Rice, Robin (Joey) Stephens, and Tresa (Brent) McCain, as well as 20 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Kathy Hildebrand of Arkansas.  A memorial service for Robert will be held at the New Concord Church of Christ from 1 to 3PM on Sunday, December 20th with full military honors, and will be officiated by Dick Harris.  Arrangements are be cared for by the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord.
