Robert Alfred Franklin

Robert A. Franklin passed away on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 while in the care of Genesis Hospital of Zanesville; he was 62 years old.  He was born in Muncie, Indiana to Robert and Wilma (Ray) Franklin \on January 1, 1956.  Robert was a member of the American Legion, and he also worked at Walmart.  Robert enjoyed spending his time at the waterside with a fishing pole in one hand and a cold one in another.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Franklin and his mother, Wilma (Leonard) Hartwell.  He is survived by his sister, Betty Davis of Zanesville, a brother, Lenny (Jennifer) Hartwell of Zanesville, and his beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Per his wishes a comforting and care filled cremation will take place, with calling hours and visitation time with the family being held at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls on Saturday, May 12th from 2 to 4PM.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to help assist with the funeral costs.
