Richard L Withers passed away peacefully in his home on Friday October 7th, he was 87 years old. Richard was born on June 14th, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio to Edgar and Pauline (Mason) Withers. He worked as a Roll Grinder for Armco. Richard loved to play poker, go fishing, and watching the Buckeyes play ball.
He is predeceased by his parents, his Step-Father, Fred Lowe, his son, Richard Withers, a sister, June Dolloff, and a step-brother, Ray Lowe. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Linda Sue (Roberts) Withers, his daughter, Darlene (Steve) Snyder, his son, Walter (Joyce) Withers, his stepson, John (Lisa)McMullen, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Richard at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls on Monday, October 10th from 2 to 4PM. Services will start at 4PM, and burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
