Richard A. Glover, 68 of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2022, while at his home and with his loving family by his side.
Rich was born in Columbus on February 28, 1953. He is the son of the late Judson and Pansy (Collins) Glover. Rich worked as a tree climber for many years for Asplundh, as well as Navco. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved spend time doing yard work or gardening, but his favorite way to spend his time was with his grandkids. Rich proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Rich is survived by his loving wife Lorraine M. (Anderson) Glover, who he married on August 17, 1983; his children, Jennifer Hern, Kristy Lore, Jessica Hollar, Lula Myers, Art Glover, and Jeremy Anderson; his eleven grandchildren; his one great-grandson; his siblings, Dennis Collins, and Becky Lloyd; his in-laws, Shawn Powell, John Anderson, Sherry Cook, and Sandy Sappington; and his mother-in-law, Bessie Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Dakota Nusser; his tree-climbing buddy Billie Dunkle.
Visitations will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held immediately following visitations at 1pm. Rich will be laid to rest in Williams Cemetery with full military honors provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058, American Legion Post #29, and the United States Army Honor Guard.
