Richard A. Erwin

Richard A. Erwin, 61 of Zanesville, passed away on December 27, 2018 at Genesis Health Care in Zanesville.

Richard was born in New Lexington, Ohio on November 17, 1957.  He is the son of the late Ila (Erwin) Brown and Orba “Red” Brown.  He was a mechanic and he loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting and camping.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter and nieces and nephews.

Richard is survived by his son, Joshua Eddy of Zanesville; his granddaughter, Yazmyn Eddy; his sisters, Martha (Charlie) Bickford, Pamela (Richard) Taylor, Judy (Joe) McCabe, Tina (Kenneth) Boyd, and Terri (Dale) Hixon and a special friend, Scott “Booper” Smith, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Martha Erwin.

In keeping with his wishes a caring cremation will take place by the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.
