Rebecca (Becky) M. Sorensen Beardsley

Rebecca (Becky) M. Sorensen Beardsley,65, Philo passed away on Saturday July 25, 2015 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.  Becky was born September 15, 1949 in Zanesville to the late Curtis Sorensen and Martha Fisher Sorensen of Zanesville. She graduated from Philo High School in 1967. She worked at Essix Wire and  worked as a cook and bar tender at the Rooster in Duncan Falls, as well as other area bars. She enjoyed all the customers . Surviving are her  daughter Priscilla Beardsley of Zanesville and a step son Rodney (Debbie) Beardsley of North Canton. A sister Emily Sorensen of Kingman, Az. A brother Daniel (Kathy) Sorensen of Zanesville, Three Grandchildren are Alyssa Beardsley, Misty Beardsley and  Jordin Dobbins and her step grandchildren Erin Beardsley and Cory Beardsley.  Nieces and nephews are Wesley, Josh,  Kaitlyn, Scot, Stacy, Katrina, and many, many, many Beardsley nieces and nephews. Special friends are Peg Newman, Melanie Shubert, Joann Moore, Janet Moore, Jan Willison. In addition to her Father Becky is preceded in death by her husband Sherman Beardsley, by a Son Christopher Beardsley who passed away  May 2013, and a brother Gregory Sorensen, her grandparents Chris and Clara (Phillis) Sorensen and George and Emma (Graham) Fisher.  Becky wishes was that she is cremated and services will be at a later date.  A special Thank You to Genesis Hospice Staff and Genesis Nursing Staff.
