Rebecca "Becca" L. Getter

Rebecca “Becca” Lynn Getter, 57 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Embassy of Cambridge, Ohio, under the compassionate care of Shrivers Hospice.

Born June 17, 1967, in Zanesville, she was the daughter of the late Robert Fortney and Donna (Prater) Fortney. Becca was a member of the Tree of Life Church in Zanesville; she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, and cherished her beloved dog, Squeak.

She is survived by her loving children: Amber Getter, Ashley Getter, Zachary and Destiny Getter, Austin and Darean Getter; her grandchildren: Brayden, Jaden, Eaden, Brooklyn, Aubree, Raeleigh, Peyton, Ella, Austin, and Jaycie; her sister, Margaret Angler; and her two brothers, Robert Fortney Jr. and David and Tara Fortney.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Joe Rolland. Becca will be laid to rest at Allen Cemetery in Blue Rock, Ohio.
