R. Maria Mock

Rosa “Maria” Mock, 65, of Zanesville passed away at 6:55 am on Saturday (January 17, 2015) at the Morrison House Genesis Hospice. Maria was born October 18, 1949 in Roseville to the late Ezekiel Rose and Opal Estep Anderson. Maria retired from the Bloomer Candy Company, as a line boss, candy maker, and box operator. Maria was a house wife and a loving mother. She is survived by her daughter Shannon Mock of Zanesville and granddaughter Maddison Littick of Zanesville. Her two grandsons are Ezekiel Mock and Zeb Mock both of Oregon.
Her brothers are Alfred Rose of Coshocton, Archie Rose of Zanesville and Gerald Draper. Maria’s sister is Helen Knight of Zanesville. Maria has several neices and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Travis Rose and her sisters Carol Hurst and Patricia Rose and a brother William Rose.
Friends may call 4 to 7 Monday, January 19, 2015, at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls where the funeral will be at 7 pm with James Rose, Alfred Rose, and Matt Richardson officiating.
