Perry M. Franklin

Perry M. Franklin, 79 of Philo, formerly of Columbus, passed away at 5:35 am on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at his residence. Perry was born October 12, 1934 in Thealka, Ky. the son of the late Eddie Franklin and Mildred (Milam) Armes. He worked for The Ohio State University as a locksmith and he was a lifetime member of Linden Eagle #2252. Perry is survived by his wife Wilma Jean (Flemming) Franklin, whom he married June 6, 1954; his children James Edward (Toni) Franklin of Oakdale, CT, Gail Sue Franklin-Smith of Blue Rock, Irvin Downard (Sook Cha) Franklin of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren Perry Martin Franklin II, Jason Aaron Smith, Sarah Elizabeth Wolfe, Kara Elise Jones, Rachel Ann Martell, James Edward Franklin II and Nathan Andrew Franklin and his 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Perry is preceded in death by his son Robert Michael Hudson, his brother Irvin Brian Franklin and his sister Ellen Jean Williams. In keeping with his wishes, Perry's body will be cremated and no services will be observed. www.farusfh.com
