Perry "Bunk" Bunker, 64, of Zanesville, OH passed away at 9:30 am, Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his home after a brief illness. He was born Saturday, December 10, 1949 in Zanesville, OH to Charles Lavern Bunker and Kathryn Maxine Bunker. He was a dedicated, loving, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. In his early years he enjoyed racing through the back roads of Muskingum County and later found his passion in Demolition Derbies, also winning one. He was known around the area as a great mechanic helping friends, family and anyone that needed help with their autos. He was also an avid Nascar and Dale and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. He was a former member of the Zanesville Moose and the Eagles Lodges. He worked hard, played hard, and was a friend to everyone he met. He had fond memories of the oil fields and at Precision Fabricating and Stamping, Inc. He also enjoyed working the family farm with his dad. Stories of his youth and early adulthood were filled with excitement and danger as he lived on the edge and rarely let anything hold him back. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, of 30 years and 4 children who he loved and were the pride of his life. Rebecca (Charles) Simon of Zanesville, Lisa Dooley of Zanesville, Amy (Ryan) Harris, of Zanesville, and Raymond Drabik of Heath. He is also survived by three sisters, Yvonne Grear, Veta (Stephen) Welsh, and Andrea (Michael) Finan as well as two brothers, Duane (Diane) Bunker, and Romney (Beverly) Bunker, all of Zanesville. He's also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece and nephew. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, maternal grandparents William Jennings Bryan Brock and Linnie Wible Brock and paternal grandparents Orson Edward Bunker and Ella Elvira Thorpe and a nephew Austin. Visitations will be 10 to 11 am, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be at 11am with Pastor Tom England officiating. He will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery.
