Pearl A.
Bradford
Oct 29, 1939 — Jul 2, 2026
Zanesville
Pearl A. Bradford (Smith), age 86, passed away peacefully at the Helen Purcell Home, surrounded by the love of her family.
Pearl was born on October 29, 1939, in Farina, Illinois, to Maurice J. Smith and Bernice (Potter) Smith. She was one of ten children and cherished the close bond she shared with her siblings throughout her life. She held a particularly special relationship with her sister, Willi Kulick, who remained faithfully by her side throughout her illness.
Pearl was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Glass and Brenda Shepherd; her grandchildren, Julie Glass and Chad Glass; three great-grandchildren; her beloved sister, Willi Kulick; and many other cherished family members and friends whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice J. Smith and Bernice (Potter) Smith; her beloved husband, Dean Bradford; her brother, Adrian Smith; and her granddaughter, Courtney Shepherd.
Pearl lived a remarkable life filled with adventure, determination, and love. She was an accomplished golfer who found great joy on the golf course, where she achieved the rare distinction of recording five holes-in-one. She also fulfilled a passion for aviation, earning her pilot's license and enjoying countless hours flying her Cessna 172 throughout the Midwest alongside her husband, Dean.
Together, Pearl and Dean built and operated their family business, Easy Drilling, an oil and gas company, from 1975 until the early 1990s.
Above all, Pearl will be remembered for her generous heart and unwavering devotion to her family. To know Pearl was to love her. She was selfless in every sense of the word, always placing the needs of others before her own. She was a constant source of love, strength, and encouragement, and nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Pearl's kindness, adventurous spirit, and enduring love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
There will be no public services at this time.
