Paul "Pete" W. Devore

Paul “Pete” W. DeVore, 73 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at his home on February 17, 2022, with his loving family by his side, and while under the care of Hospice of Guernsey County.

Pete was born on August 3, 1948 in Cambridge. He is the son of the late Edwin R. and Garnet (Huff) DeVore. Pete worked as an auto-body mechanic for many years, he loved to fix anything mechanical.  He enjoyed working on tractors and he was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting. He proudly served his country in the United States Army serving in Vietnam.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Conner) DeVore, who he married on December 18, 1968; his two sons, Doug DeVore and Tony (Amanda) DeVore; his three grandchildren, Andria, Michael and Lauren DeVore; and his great grandson, Bentley.

In addition to his parents, Pete is preceded in death by his siblings, Emma Jo Webb, Arlene Star, Monna Bynon and James DeVore.

In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the DeVore family.
