Paul William Tysinger

April 9, 1957 — December 6, 2021

Zanesville

Paul William Tysinger born April 9th, 1957 went to the big party in the sky on Monday December 6th, 2021 where he was reunited with his mother and father Bill and Donna Tysinger, special nephews John Jenkins and Joshua Lecocq, and his beloved aunt and uncle Pat and Jerry Little.

Paul loved life and never met a stranger, or at least never left you as one. His friends were his family and his family was his life. Paul got his work ethic from his hero, his father Cobbie, his wit and charm from his mother Bubba, and his patience and sincerity from having 3 amazing sisters - Cheryl (Jerry) Jenkins, Carla (Dan) Ewing, and Gina (Jeff) LeCocq. He also shared many great memories with his niece, nephews and cousins.

Paul worked for Owens Brockway where he met the love of his life Sue who he married May 19th, 1984.  His greatest accomplishments were his two children, Tia and Tony, but his love did not stop with them. His love for his son in law Chase was unmatched, and he welcomed Tara in his own special way to his family with open arms. Paul dearly loved his 2 grandsons Dax and Jase with whom he shared a special bond, and he loved his dogs and “grand dogs” Woody, Milhouse, Archie, Cooter, and Waylon.

Paul was an avid golfer, even made Sue spend their honeymoon at the Memorial Tournament, a lifelong Browns fan and a lover of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a proud supporter of the Philo Athletic Boosters and had a special place in his heart for “his boys” from the ‘99 basketball team.

Paul leaves behind many special memories with his dear friends and family including family vacations to Canada and Holden Beach, winning big at the casino, late night washer tournaments, being the 4.98 Beauty Queen as Miss Toadtown and a hole in one at Fullers Fairways, which he was extremely proud of.

Please join us for a celebration of Paul’s life at the Zanesville F.O.P. Lodge, 3155 Parry Dr, Zanesville, OH 43701 Thursday December 9th from 4pm-8pm. Please bring your favorite drink as we lift a glass to a life well lived.

The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Tysinger family.
