Paul Christopher Grether “aka Jeffie”

Paul C. Grether of Zanesville, Ohio age 31, passed away on February 10, 2023.  Husband to Nicole Grether, father to Bentley C. Grether and Jenna M. Bice.

Paul was born in Zanesville, Ohio on July 20, 1991.  He is the son of Paul J. (Marcia) Grether and Barbara Bradshaw Doyle.

He was a 2010 graduate of Roane County High School in Spencer, West Virginia.  Paul was full of laughter and had an impact on everyone he crossed. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool and sitting around bonfires with his family and friends. He was known as a hard and dedicated worker for ODOT.

Paul was survived by his grandparents, Charles and Linda Bradshaw; two brothers, Joseph T. Grether and Matthew J. Grether; one sister, Thea J. Grether; his in-laws, Larry (Cindy) Wagner; sister-in-law, Michele Finkes;  as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Paul is preceded in death by several other family members and a very special great grandmother, Donna Jean Gourley.

A private memorial service will take place, the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Grether family.
