Patricia "Patty" E. Thomsen, 65, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Born on April 14, 1959, in Zanesville, Patty was the beloved daughter of the late Norman and Mary (McCabe) Doty. She spent many years working as a cashier at the Duke and Duchess on Maple Avenue. She was an avid shot glass collector, a yard sale enthusiast, and a fan of true crime shows. She also loved crafting with diamond art, savoring her favorite snacks, and was known for giving the warmest hugs and loving “the mostest.”
Patty is survived by her loving companion, Jens M. Thomsen; her daughters, Kisha R. Rutter and Trisha L. Keith (Ray Price); and her cherished grandchildren, Jacob D. Wheeler, Ariana M. Ulry (Jordan), Courtney M. Rutter (Greg McFadden), Jonathon T. Keith (Kelsey), and Katelin D. Rutter. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Eastyn W. Ulry, Grayson E. Ulry, Jaxyn J. Ulry, and Emily N. Wheeler. Patty leaves behind her siblings, Harold Doty, Norman "Jr." Doty, Brenda Lyons (Kenny), Joyce Aldred (Loren), and Karen Dennison (Darryl).
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard, Gary, Bob, and Glen Doty; her sisters, Betty Marinelli, Norma Smith, Cindy Doty, and Shirley Doty; and her son-in-law, Jeremy D. Rutter.
