Patricia Capunay Hoover

Patricia (Capunay) Hoover, 75 of Zanesville, passed away at 7:22 pm on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Genesis Hospital.
Patricia was born in Bronx, New York on June 3, 1941. She is the daughter of the late Julia Barensky and Raymond J. Mahoney. She was raised in Franklin, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother and she loved her cats. She was an avid Ohio State Fan.
Patricia is survived by her children Alex Ruiz of CA; Amy Buntjer of CA; Karen Carbullido of WA; Victor Capunay Jr. of Zanesville; Patty (Steve) Thomas of Zanesville; Nikki (Greg) Bennett of Zanesville; Scott Capunay of Houston,TX and Jennifer Capunay of Zanesville; her grandchildren Kayla (Nick) Barnes, Karly, Allison, Megan, Taylor, Gregory, Raven, Justus, Amiyah, Bryce, Austin, Chad, Hunter; her great-grandchildren O’Ryan, Ona, Rider, Khairi, Rage, Janine, Adrian, Sabastian, Christian, Renee, Josh, Jr., Tiera, Aja and Tiffany; her sisters Irene (David) Simpkins and Judy Guzman and her loving cats Tigger, Maddie, Little CC, Midnight and Cry Baby.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Ky’ren and her sisters.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Patricia from 2 to 5 pm Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A caring cremation will follow.
