Oma Mae Haney

March 23, 1933 — May 23, 2018

Oma Mae Cunningam LePage Haney, 85, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 while in the care of the Cardinal House of Cambridge.  She was born in Macksburg, Ohio on March 23, 1933 to Illif and Mary Lee (Landaker) Cunningham.  She worked as a nurse for many years.  She worked as a nurse at Guernsey Hospital, the New Concord Nursing Home, and Clayettes Nursing Home in Dayton, Fl.  After her retirement she enjoyed going to the senior center in Byesville, volunteering her time at the hospital, and attending church and teaching Sunday school.  She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children including her son, Bill (Helga) LePage, son, Charles (Kathy) LePage, daughter, Marjorie Curry, and daughter, Rebecca (William) Woods, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and her sister, Melba Kennedy.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Miles LePage, husband Richard Haney, her son, Larry LePage, her grandson, William LePage, Jr., and her brothers, Dick Cunningham and Tom Cunningham.

Friends and family are welcome to attend Calling Hours for Oma at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 11AM to 1PM.  Services will begin at 1PM, with Rev. Karen Graham officiating the service, which will be followed by a comforting and care-filled cremation.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to either the New Concord United Methodist Church, 20 E High St, New Concord, OH 43762 or Hospice of Guernsey, 9711 E Pike Rd, Cambridge, OH 43725.
